This patchwork is made from old hand-woven pieces of antique Kilim rug. The best-preserved parts of the big carpets are combined into a unique work of art. Kilims collected from different areas may be combined in the same carpet. This rug is light and calm. Some pieces have a small pattern that adds interest to this rug. To improve durability, a cotton backing fabric is added to the reverse side of the rug.
