Patchwork

Patchwork carpets are made from pieces of old hand-knotted rugs, giving them a unique look. The colors and patterns of the carpets repeat the asymmetric nuances of the patchwork, resulting in a harmonious blend. Skilled craftsmen select the pieces of old carpet intended for the new one, care for them, re-dye and sew them if necessary, and finally add a cotton support fabric to the wrong side of the carpet.
