Patchwork Sand with natural shades is a unique carpet made from old pieces of hand-knotted carpet. Its parts are asymmetrically composed, which makes it interesting to look at, yet it forms a complete whole. The carpet combines traditional elements with modern touches due to the carefully executed restoration work. The piled surface of the old carpet is cut, re-dyed, and supported with a cotton fabric on the wrong side. The rug is made of wool, which has dirt-repellent properties and makes it easy to keep clean with just water. Marseille soap is also an excellent option for cleaning. Despite its lightness, Patchwork Sand is not particularly sensitive to life, making it a durable and practical choice for any home.
