This patchwork is made from old hand-woven pieces of antique Kilim rug. The best-preserved parts of the big carpets are introduced and combined into a unique work of art. The same carpet may have a combination of carpets collected from different areas. To improve durability, a cotton backing fabric is added to the reverse side of the rug.
